Today, Steles of the Sky begins.
I have a box of file cards with plot points and cool bits of worldbuilding on them. I have a tracking spreadsheet and an initial manuscript file.
I have a pot of jasmine tea that my friend Tibby gave me. The dog has reported for duty, and it’s a beautiful day here in South Central Massachusetts. (Come for the gay marriage; stay for the healthcare.) I have a window open in my office.
It’s time to put some words on the page.
Tea today is a tied jasmine, an oolong I think–the liquor is a lovely red-tan color. Teacup today is the green one I bought in Baltimore on a lunch date with Hanne Blank and Malcolm Gin.
Yesterday, the Jeff and I went kayaking on the Mighty Quaboag between Warren and West Brookfield. Lovely day for a paddle and we met some maneating trees…
