Hey folks!
I will be hosting a showing and discussion of the classic SF film Fahrenheit 451 at the Worcester Public Library in Worcester (go figure) Massachusetts on Saturday, March 28 from 1:00 pm to 3:30. Please come join me if you're in the area!
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the film. Adapted from the anti-censorship, anti-authoritarian Ray Bradbury novel of the same name, this film tells the story of a future society that has banned and burned all reading material.
The people who do this job are called firemen. The story follows the moral crisis of one fireman as he begins to re-think his job when he meets a revolutionary woman.
Year: 1966 / Run time: 1 hour 52 minutes / Rating: Not rated
The first 20 patrons to arrive will receive a free copy of the book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury!
